We rarely hear employees express their approval and support to their employers or bosses. On this list, you’ll learn how these people got the heart of their workforce. In fact, they are not just America’s admired CEOs, but they are the 10 most loved bosses in the world today. What are their secrets, and how they were able to work with their subordinates and other laborers in the companies that they lead? Let’s find out the real leadership skills that they have manifested, and the kind of charm that they have to their employees.

10. Pierre Nanterme, Accenture (95% Approve)

He is the 59-year old CEO of Accenture since October 20, 2010, and started leading the company in 2011 of January. In fact, he has also accepted the position that William D. Green held as a chairman of the board after he resigned from last February 01, 2013. He has been working in Accenture for 30 years now, and this is one of the obvious reasons why he is well favored by the employees of the company because he knows how he works with various people. He has served different clients from insurance industries down to banking.

9. Richard K. Davis, U.S. Bank (95% Approve)

The 54-year old businessman from America continually serves the U.S. Bancorp even before it had it successful merging in 2001 with Firstar, where it had merged too from the original company where he started working as a teller, which was the Star Banc Corporation. Would you imagine that he had a humble beginning as an employee when he was 18 years old? In 2004, he assumed the Chief Operating Officer until 2006, and also worked as the President in those years. In 2007, he became the Chairman of the Board, Executive Vice President, and now serving as its Chairman, President, and CEO. He was even cited as one of the highest-paid bank CEOs.

8. Paul E. Jacobs, QUALCOMM (95% Approve)

A Jewish race leads successfully Qualcomm, but he did not achieve his current position as the CEO and Chairman of the Board of the company in a wink of an eye. He worked hard for it when he finished Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, in 1984, and in 1986 he earned an M.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering and Ph.D. in the same courses at the University of California, Berkeley in 1989. He has been working at Qualcomm since 1990, and he began as an engineer of the wireless technology development, and growth came in his career. After 15 years, he was chosen as the new CEO of it. Based on the feedback provided by different employees from different countries, some of the things that they have noted from him are how he walks the talk, great intern treatment, his being a great manager, and his welcoming attitude towards employees.

7. Joe Tucci, EMC (96% Approve)

Before Joe Tucci joined EMC in 2001 of January, he has honed his leadership skills in different companies, where he has left remarkable contributions like in Wang Global as its CEO, Paychex, Inc., and Deputy CEO of Getronics N.V. In fact, under his care, he made EMC as the top provider of data storage solution not just in limited areas in the U.S., but across the globe. Moreover, with his first 9 years in the company he has exerted his efforts making Boston on the technology map through the acquisition strategies that he made. He established a dramatic transition of the company by sustaining the double-digit development and market share gains. Employees love him because of his humble and cheerful nature not just as a person, but especially towards customers. He believes that customers must be the top priority, and he sees himself as a least to attend to. He compliments those people who are progressing and contributing, and that’s why workers of the company are inspired and motivated.

6. Frank D’Souza, Cognizant Technology Solutions (96% Approve)

He is one of the youngest CEOs in the business world just like Mark Zuckerberg. He is a 38-year old CEO and President of Cognizant Technology Solutions since January 1, 2007, being raised in Nairobi, India. He is also appointed as a GE director in February this year, and everyone in the board believed that his expertise of 20 years in the information technology would contribute to the kind of perspective that they also expect. Moreover, he also serves as the U.S. India Business Council Director. His efforts of finishing Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of East Asia and a Master’s Degree with the same course at Carnegie Mellon University have prepared him with his current leadership roles in the company. The recognitions that he received previously as an employer are undeniable tangible evidences that he is a well-loved boss.

5. John E. Schlifske, Northwestern Mutual (96% Approve)

In order for John E. Schlifske to reach his success in Northwestern Mutual, he made sure that he would excel in his function as an investment specialist, which made him climb the career ladder in a steady pace. He later led the retail broker-dealer team, became the CEO of Northwestern Mutual’s subsidiary company, and later achieved the career climax by being CEO and Chairman of the business in 2010. The company is basically structured in its professional undertakings, which pretty much explains how Northwestern Mutual treats its workers. Understanding dreams, aspirations, goals, and even problems is a skill set that is applied to both customers and to employees. Also, the attitude of teamwork is greatly expressed with the overall success of every department. There is also a drive of helping everyone learn new things, while becoming adaptive to modern needs and circumstances.

4. Jim Turley, Ernst & Young (96% Approve)

Jim Turley, just like anyone else in this list, has worked with the company for as long as anyone could remember. He started small back in 1977 and has never left Ernst & Young ever since, making him the current Chairman and CEO. He would be retiring in June 2013, reaching his 36 years in the business. So what made Jim stay so long? First of all, it is a place where learning is at its best, all thanks to a conducive environment that’s teeming with good-natured people. The salary also pays well, and the benefits would perfectly compensate for the tasks being done on longer working hours. The workforce is generally motivated, making you also just as motivated and energized.

3. Dominic Barton, McKinsey & Company (97% Approve)

Before Dominic Barton worked at McKinsey, he started his career as a currency analyst in the British multinational investment banking company, N M Rothschild & Sons Limited. But in as early as 1986, he entered McKinsey & Company, and did not have an easy time becoming a partner for the company. Due to being rejected over three times, it has been his pledge to raise the bar for his own, even beyond what McKinsey would demand of its employees. Due to his efforts of making it to the top, even being called as Worldwide Managing Director, he made sure that every employee working here would feel their worth with life-work balance that’s kept at a standard level, and that they are respected for their work and their opinion.

2. Bill McDermott & Jim Hagemann Snabe, SAP (99% Approve)

SAP is known to be one of the greatest competitors against Oracle for being a developer of software solutions for businesses, enterprises, and companies. Due to its drive of being the best, SAP also sees to it that their employees feel working in the best company there is in the industry. What’s a free lunch, motivating trainers, and compensation packages that would drive you to bring out your best? They are just inclusions of the thing that matters most, which is constant learning and career development. The environment is actually family-friendly, and people from different departments are bred with great in-business culture that cannot be found anywhere else. Technology is also at its peak, especially since there are technologies are only used within. Just as Bill McDermott & Jim Hagemann Snabe are, SAP is a place where people are valuable and are placed in the highest priority.

1. Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook (99% Approve)

Mark Zuckerberg’s mentality about working in Facebook is strongly associated with its objective, which is to make the world more open and connected. This aspiration can not only be seen as it is in front of the computer screens, but it is also apparent with the working relationship of all employees, regardless of position and function. Mark Zuckerberg is a kind of boss that thinks almost the same as his workers. What he looks for in people is their ability to find huge problems and fixing them just as fast. Personal preference does not matter much, but what matters is their capability to do things. He looks at mistakes as an opportunity for growth, and he encourages people, whether big or small, to speak up their minds, be bold, and learn how to take risks. But more importantly, he teaches his people to be open through interaction and understanding. Who would not like to work in a company that has such amazing ethics and outlook?

Although 3D Printers have just been introduced recently, its capability actually shows promise to those people who are creative and skilled with creating designs and patterns using the program included with the purchase of the device. In fact, there has been one individual who has made an idea of making Remote Controlled Koopa Shells using RC parts and 3D printed images, which caught the attention of Nintendo. Since these printers are actually using molded plastic as its end product, you can think of the endless possibilities of what can be done with it. Just what can you do with a printer this great? Check out the top 10 things to do with a 3D printer and surprise yourself!

10. Complete a Collectors’ Item Set

Back in the old days, you used to save every penny in your school allowance in order for you to collect cars, action figures, and other toys. But with the help of a 3D printer, you can replicate a collection you just can’t find anywhere. You do not have to spend hundreds and even thousands of dollars for a collector’s item that has been ages old. And you do not have to go through the frustration of not completing your collection. Can you just imagine 3D printing a whole set of cars that you love, such as a Chevy Camaro, a Ford Mustang, and a Bugatti Veyron all found in your living room with just a fraction of a cost?

9. Create Your Own Set of Popular Action Figures

PhotoSource:http://www.3ders.org/articles/20120407-3d-print-your-head-to-pop-on-your-favourite-superhero-action-figure.html

Kids and even adults alike just love to collect action figures and have them all placed tenderly inside the room or in a collector’s cabinet. Superheroes, robots, movie characters, and even villains all make up a satisfying collection of toys. With the help of a 3D printer, you can now spend more time in making your toys complete without going through auctions and waiting for decades just for your favorite action figure to show up. What’s even better is that you could even make your own pose, myriad of costumes, and other modifications that would make you see toy heaven.

8. Replace Missing Lego Bricks

PhotoSource: http://www.techhive.com/article/252109/3d_printed_connectivity_kit_lets_your_lego_bricks_talk_to_your_k_nex.html

If you or your child has bought a Lego set where each piece is necessary to make a desired theme or model, it could be sometimes frustrating if a piece or two goes missing and you cannot complete the set, making it a mere stack load of bricks that can create objects at random. But when you are apt with a 3D printer, you can replace that missing piece in a jiffy, and you could even make pieces from other collections as long as you have a copy. Imagine how happy your kid would be if he could have a Lego Darth Vader, a Batman, and Legolas all in one place.

7. Craft Your Own Set of Jewelries

It can be quite a drag if you cannot find the earring or bracelet that perfectly matches your getup for the day. Sometimes, women even spend hours strolling in the mall just for them to find a piece of jewelry that would complement the clothes, the bag, and even the shoes. When manipulating designs for 3D printers become easy with developed interfaces and design editors, even the girls would no longer have to tire their feet or strain their eyes in search of the suitable accessory. What’s even special is that you can print the color you want, at the time when you feel that what you have is not what really matches your look. Custom bead necklaces anyone?

6. Make Customized Home Ornaments

Say you are a nifty interior home designer and you do not have the piece you need to make a perfectly themes living room. What would you do? Will you travel the world and buy antiques that cost thousands of dollars just so it could be displayed at home? What if your theme is Indonesian or Russo? Would you have to go to those places for you to have the desired ornament you want? When you have a 3D printer in your hands, you can ask for professionals to make the design you want and place it comfortably wherever you want it. After all, it’s made of plastic, so you’re worry-free from breakage.

5. Fabricate Medical Aid Devices

Who says that 3D printing is just for children and for those who love to have fun? Since this thing is able to create almost anything from plastic, as long as there is a pattern and a design to follow through, you could make medical aid devices for people who have physical disabilities. From neck braces, to custom-sized crutches, and even prosthetic legs, you no longer have to spend too much money from merchandise you can get for almost free.

4. Supply Yourself with DIY Tools and Stuff

If you are the type that has passion in creating a perfect home, you may have looked for curtain rods, cabinet handles, door knobs, light switches, and even other fittings that are based on your creative taste. However, because most pieces are mass produced, it may take time for you to have the piece that you really want. Why not use your 3D printer and make a lion head door knob to live it up? You can even create other stuff that’s great for any home or office.

3. Create Your Replacement for Missing Parts

What will you do if your washing machine handle broke, or your gas stove valve snapped into two? Would you endure the many days of going to the laundry service and mess up your clothes or eat in a restaurant until the company provides you a replacement? Well, you don’t have to go through that anymore. With a 3D printer right in your home, you can measure stuff such as fitting hole size, lengths, and so on, and let the professional take care of the rest. In no time, you could have parts replaced like it’s brand new. You could even make your own bolts, nuts, and other things. There have even been instances when such plastic printed products were used to replace parts in a plane.

2. Fool Visitors with Fake Food

Yup, 3D printers are so great in detail that you could create realistic food such as meat slices, vegetables, and even seafood. You can use these to fool the visitors that you have lots of food or you could just use it as a display in your dining table to have that feeling of satisfaction that you have the delicacies you want. Yes, you can even make pieces such as curried rice, beef broccoli, stir-fried noodles, and much more.

1. Make Your Own Plastic Clothes

As exaggerated as it might be, you can actually create clothes out of 3D printers. All you have to do is to take note of how clothe strands are formed and you can create dresses, vests, and even scarves based on the colors you want to apply. Just have your design ready and let the printing professional take care of the rest. But if you have the time to practice how it can be done at home, then you may make your own clothes in no time, and shades that you truly love.

It’s tough to whittle some of the world’s greatest advertising down to 10 commercials. 2012 by itself gave us at least 10 great ads that could hold up on its own, but the fact remains — when it comes to prime time TV commercials, the Super Bowl is the ultimate arena to show your best work. According to Cami Hadley from Cable.tv, a 30-second spot during this year’s NFL championship will cost $4 million dollars, making them the most expensive commercials of all time. Here are 10 legendary commercials over the decades that were worth every penny:

Budweiser Frogs (1995)

Budweiser, known for throwing money at Super Bowl advertising, went the distance in 1995 during Super Bowl XXIX. The best idea advertisers could come up with: Three frogs sitting on a log and croaking the words “buuuud,” wiiiiissee” and “errrrr.” Americans predictably loved this ad, which included lizard and ferret-themed spin offs. They hired Gore Verbinski (who would go on to direct Pirates of the Caribbean) to direct a series of commercials featuring Bud’s new official mascot — the slow-talking frog.

The Showdown (McDonalds)

Michael Jordan and Larry Bird, two of the most recognizable athletes in the world, engage in an shooting contest for a Big Mac. (“Over the second rafter, off the floor, nothing but net.”) The commercial ends with the players throwing a ball off the John Hancock Tower. This goes down as one of the most memorable sports commercials made.

Talking Baby (E*Trade)

It’s a shame how much E*Trade has milked this cow, because the first commercial during the 2008 Super Bowl made this baby one of the most memorable in advertising.

Carrier Pigeons (FedEx)

The international shipping company teaches us that giant birds aren’t to be trusted with your shipping, or anything else really.

Thanks, Mean Joe! (Coca-Cola)

Perhaps one of the most well-known Super Bowl ads of all time is former Pittsburgh Steeler star Mean Joe Greene. So when Coca-Cola showed us the softer side of the defensive tackler in 1979, America got a glimpse of a man they may have never seen crack a smile on the football field. Coke tried to relieve the magic with Troy Polamalu during Super Bowl VIII, but the simple truth is he’s just not that mean.

Cindy Crawford (Pepsi)

This one’s tame by today’s standards, but Pepsi’s racy ad from 1992 put Cindy Crawford on the supermodel map, and likely on the walls of many teenagers bedrooms.

Betty White (Snickers)

Betty White is a comedy queen, and hearing her tell someone, “that’s not what your girlfriend said” is even better. Out of all the Snickers commercials that feature celebrity cameos, this is by far the best. As youthful as White is, you’d think that was really her getting tackled in the mud.

The Force (Volkswagen)

Great Super Bowl commercials can be both funny and adorable. Volkwagen’s ad from 2011 showed us something we all wish we could do as kids (and probably adults), move stuff using the force. With a simple remote starter, this dad made a kid’s dream come true.

Terry Tate: Office Linebacker (Reebok)

If this one’s not the best, it’s certainly the funniest. Another fierce NFL defenseman, we got to see the humorous side of Terry Tate as he beat the living crap out of his slacking co-workers. If this ad didn’t make you buy a pair of Reeboks, it definitely reminded to put cover sheets on your TPS reports.

1984 (Apple)

It’s said to be one of the best commercials of all time, and was certainly unlike anything a computer company had put out there before. An Orwellian scene of lockstep fascism is broken up by a woman in red Dolphin shorts, who hurls a sledgehammer through a theater screen. Then we see this text: “On January 24th, Apple will introduce Macintosh. And you’ll see why 1984 won’t be like ’1984.’”

November 21, 2012 marks the 16th year of the World Television Day which was declared and approved official event in December of 1996. Following that proclamation, a World Television Forum was organized despite of the opposition expressed by some people who have felt that this celebration is already a redundant version of World Telecommunication Day, World Press Freedom Day, and etc. Hence, the main purpose of this is to inculcate interest to everyone about the role that Television assumes in bringing facts, solving issues, and how it would be utilized to communicate the message in the midst of the contemporary changes that world undergoes.
Sony has carried a reputation as the number one TV brand in the market, and it stands in their simple statements in two words which is Make and Believe. It is known for electronic products like music, gaming, and entertainment, and their most prime product is Television set. They don’t settle in ordinary, but they create extraordinary technology that can be seen, and touched by your eyes and hands. Aside from the fact that it’s a Japanese multinational corporation that has been up to give healthy competitions in the market, it has gained reputation as to their own in-house standards television that challenge competitors to improve and innovate.

1. Sharp

<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-21246" src="http://www.tiptoptens.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/1.-Sharp-e1353400798570.jpg" alt="1.
Some would definitely wonder why Sharp TV ranked number one, why not Sony that has been holding the number one spot for quite some time. It offers as well large screen televisions from under 52 inches up to 90” world class screen sizes like AQUOS and other LED TV features that one looks for. In fact, based on the history, Sharp is the first brand of television that began mass production of TV sets way back in 1953. Moreover, they also initiated the creation of big-screen televisions. It’s really a well-deserved recognition and spot for them since they can be considered as pioneers when it comes to changes and innovation.

HP All in one Printer Top 10 Cheap Tech Black Friday Deals" width="504" height="224" title="Top 10 Cheap Tech Black Friday Deals" />

Who says you have to spend as much as $50 in order for you to have a decent printer where you can scan, print, and copy documents, with the best quality you could have for home, school, or office use. The HP Deskjet 1056 Printer actually costs $19, which is one of the cheapest and most valuable deals you can find in the market.

In this year’s Black Friday, you may consider this buy as a perfect gift for family members, relatives, or even other close friends as AT&T is offering the 8GB iPhone 4 at no charge… Let me repeat… NO CHARGE! However, you should at least make sure that this could have phone plan for as low as $20, and you can own one of Apple’s babies without the hurt in the pocket.

2. Samsung Galaxy SII from Sprint

<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-21219" src="http://www.tiptoptens.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/2.-Samsung-Galaxy-SII-from-Sprint.jpg" alt="2.
In case you are not that kind of an Apple device fan, then you may think of the next best thing from a free iPhone 4. Thanks to Sprint through Best Buy, you can now get the Samsung Galaxy SII at a price that will not let you worry about your budget. Although they have the phone for $699.99, they have slashed off the price down to $99.99 due to the fad with the SIII and the iPhone 5 all over the place. Nope, you will not even pay for $99.99, but the device can now be purchased for FREE, as long as you can get the Simply Everything Plan from the service provider.

1. Vizio Smart LED TV

If you have an idea about Smart TV that can accommodate its own apps and can connect to the internet via built-in WiFi, spending about $1000 will not give you the features you need such a 60-inch screen size, 1080p crystal clear quality pictures, and physical features that can enhance any space where the TV is mounted or located. This you might not believe but Vizio is actually selling its 60-inch Smart LED TV for a total discounted price of only $688, one of the cheapest deals you could ever have for TV.

Lawsuits… You just got to love them especially when issues such as copyright infringements being sued by worldwide companies to one another, scandalous cases are being filed against a high-ranking official, or other involvements that cause a global stir are being settled in court. However, as much as there are overwhelming amounts of money being spent, witty lawyers that exchange one decree of the law with another, or the unbearable drama from the witnesses and the victims, there are those that stand out in a very weird way. Just recently, Apple and HTC have ended lawsuits through a settlement that could benefit both, which avoids splurging of funds for reasons that deprive business competition from contending companies; something that can be thought as ridiculous by some. Just so you know, there are even funnier and stranger top 10 weirdest lawsuits of all time that you have to be aware of.

10. Suit against David Copperfield and David Blaine

David Blaine and David Copperfield are famous as magicians that perform feats beyond than what can be considered as illusions. However, there is one that filed a lawsuit against these two experts because he claims that the powers they use have been taken away from him, where he thinks that he owns it, being God. It could be just his own thinking or he may have been jealous knowing that his demands were not met when he conversed with these two guys – that the secrets of their magic be revealed to him.

9. Haunted House Sued for being Too Scary

Sometimes things get to be a little too convincing that what seemed to be just a show may be taken a little too seriously, even resulting to a lawsuit that can be just as amusing. One of the Halloween Horror Nights in Universal Studios back in 1998 has scared the wits of woman and a 10 year-old girl that ended up as a $15,000 case for “emotional distress” being caused by Leatherface’s believable acting. Running and screaming with fear as they were chased by a horror figure with a chainsaw on one hand, Cleanthi Peters and her granddaughter found themselves helpless when they slipped and Leatherface gaining to them, being menaced by the chainsaw of death. Well, since this was Halloween, and the attraction they got into served the justified purpose of casting in fear and fright, the case was won in favor of the alleged theme park.

8. Beer Company Charged for Misleading Ad

Ain’t it just dreamy if you could get sexy girls drink with you while sipping that nice cold beer everyone’s talking about? While this scenario is known to be an ad stint to invite more guys into buying products, one man just had to be convinced that drinking beer can help him get close with the hottest girls around. Anheuser-Busch, maker of beer products such as the famous Budweiser and Bud Light, was sued by Richard Overton for deceiving ads that women will be easier to be with when drinking beer brands. You may assert that he tried doing those moves on TV and failed, drastically! Overton demanded for Anheuser-Busch to pay him $250 a day each time that these misleading ads are broadcasted over the air.

7. Hospital sued for Negligence

The title may seem to be reasonable, especially when the case is being viewed as one that relates to malpractice, negligence of fulfilling medical duty, or taking the patient for granted. Nevertheless, Edward Brewer sued the hospital over $2 million for something else where he stated that the former Providence Hospital did not stop him from raping one of the patients treated within the said medical facility. This may sound a little too weird so the case ended with the court in favor of the defendant, all because Brewer had decided to do the crime on his own accord.

6. Dry Cleaners being Sued for Lost Pants

When you lose your pair of pants in a dry cleaning facility, the first thing you usually do is ask the owner to find the missing pair and provide you some kind of compensation, say discounts or free service, in order to maintain business and customer relationship. However, there is one judge in Washington D.C., named Roy Pearson, which went off a little too far with this said scenario. Knowing the law and all, he sued Custom Cleaners due to market statements like “satisfaction guaranteed” not given promise, with the judge ending one pant short. If you think that this is one cheap case, then you would be surprised to know that Pearson filed the suit for over $54 million, which he even dropped down from $64 million. He did not win this one… Why? Well, the accused actually brought the missing pants in the courtroom and proved that it has been found.

5. The Case against McDonalds Coffee

This case you just have to know since it was won over by the complainant. Stella Liebeck, together with her grandson, went through the McDonalds drive-thru in order for her to buy a cup of coffee. After buying the said item, the car stopped by on the side of the road and put the cup in between her knees to add the cream in the fresh and hot coffee. When she opened the plastic lid towards her, the contents of the cup spilled, which caused third-degree burns on her lower body. She then filed the case against McDonalds telling that the coffee served was too hot that it literally burned out. She asked to have damages paid for over $20,000 due to the incident but the international fast food chain refused. With the case going to court, it was discovered that over 700 lawsuits have been filed having the same clause. Stella was awarded by the jury of over $160,000 for compensation in damages, and even $2.7 million for punitive damages.

Back in 1977, Milo Stephens Jr. went to the East Manhattan station in order for him to carry his plans of committing suicide by jumping off the tracks in order to be killed by the train. However, the said set up did not work out where he was just injured, losing some minor body parts. Everything could have been quite, but thanks to his family that found a personal injury lawyer, the said suicide has turned into a different story, where the Stephens sued the train driver for not stopping the train even though he planned on taking his life away.

3. Batman vs Batman

<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-21164" src="http://www.tiptoptens.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/3.-Batman-vs-Batman.jpg" alt="3.
And you thought that the caped crusader only has the Joker, the Penguin, or the Catwoman to worry about. For more or less 75 years since its first appearance in comic books back in 1939, Batman has already been fighting crime, whether by his own, or with his sidekick Robin. And without the world knowing, there is actually a town in Turkey that has the same name as that of the Dark Knight. Huseyin Kalkan, mayor of the town of Batman filed a suit against Warner Bros. and Christopher Nolan for using the town’s name without permission. Although this may have been a valid case that could be settled in courts, it may be hard for him or for his townsfolk to explain why make the appeal now when the name has been famous so long ago.

2. Man Sues Himself

Perhaps this may be the weirdest of all the lawsuits ever noted in crime history. Robert Lee Brock sued himself for violating his own civil rights when he took in alcoholic beverages and had himself arrested by the law. He sued himself for over $5 million was imprisoned to over 23 years. Since he did not have the money to pay for the expenses, being in prison and all, Brock asked that the state should pay for compensations to him. You just have to wonder how this was filed in the first place, or if a lawyer assisted him in providing the perfect plan for having it validated in court.

1. God gets a Lawsuit

<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-21162" src="http://www.tiptoptens.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/1.-God-gets-a-Lawsuit.jpg" alt="1.
Everyone gets upset, frustrated, and grieved by the fact that hurricanes, hailstorms, tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and other plagues take away life and destroy property. With these said events being identified as “Acts of God”, one person took the guts to show that the said activities need to stop. Surprising enough, the State Senator from the 11th Legislative District in Omaha, Nebraska, Ernie Chambers, filed charges against God labeling such acts as harmful and compromising.

Aside from the fight between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots that are being anticipated anxiously by football fans everywhere for Super Bowl XLVI this coming February, another thing that is waited by fans is the commercials that are being aired during breaks. Even though each ad slot may cost millions of dollars, advertisers and companies alike are investing so much money for this because of the exposure that will be made, which can bring about millions of customers also, depending on the impact of the ad. So without further adieu, here are the top 10 list of the best Super Bowl Ads that will be seen on TV, as it was already peeked at in YouTube.

Super Bowl Ads 2012

10. Bridgestone

If you think Bridgestone is only about cars and performance tires, then you can expect more from this ad. In fact, as the ad says, Bridgestone is taking its passion and technology beyond the road, and bringing their products in the world of sports. Just imagine a basketball, football, bowling ball, and puck created with rubber that has the grip, the lightness, robustness, and strength of a tire. Sports news anchors are absolutely dumbfounded that even Dick Vitale or Michelle Beadle of ESPN can’t even say a word…

9. Wheat Thins

Stewie and Brian of “The Family Guy” become the stars of this year’s Wheat Thins ad, where these two are doing what they always do in the show: fighting. At first, you have that feeling that they would crack up those argumentative lines they always do, but the ad shows a unique argument of its own… as to why there is so much emphasis on the “H” mentioning Wheat Thins, making it sound like HuWHEAT Thins, which knocks out everyone who watches it. What’s more interesting is that it is as if you are being magnetized with the word “HuWHEAT Thins” being stated over and over.

8. Priceline

The ad has a bit of nostalgia in it, especially since William Shatner is playing a dying role in this commercial where he helps all the passengers in a bus that as about to fall. It can be symbolic in many ways, such as Shatner playing his last commercial here, which makes the company move on with new concepts for Priceline. Also, you may have to ask in the end, “is booking cheap for hotels that essential that it may save or cost you your life in the end”?

7. Chevrolet

This ad has a slap of reality in it, making viewers think of the best days of their life. It may be college graduation, but what makes it even better is the fact that they will receive amazing gifts for all their hardwork and perseverance in finishing their education. Rewards can be as simple as a family dinner or as complicated as a Chevy, which makes graduates go loco and think that the future is ahead of them.

6. Brisk

In tradition of the many commercials that have gone before this, many ads have been using Star Wars as a way of attracting so many viewers of all ages, kids or adults alike. With Brisk however, Star Wars become cute as it features Yoda and a talkative “Darth Maul” getting all messed up because he does not have the right energy that makes him one with The Force. But with seeping all that Brisk from a broken soda dispenser got him popping, which Yoda stopped with a simple “smash”.

5. Geico

Okay, since when did lizards have the chance to save your life with insurance products for your property and other assets? If you think you are so caught up with what GEICO has in store for its customers, you can even be surprised of their Super Bowl ad with a peculiar concept. Just think about it: What is a zip-lining Maxwell the Pig has to do with GEICO? And talk about that Weeeeeeeeeeeeehhh, where he states it’s a rush of pure adrenaline… Got you puzzled huh?

4. Audi

Audi is a vehicle known for their powerful and innovative concepts of headlights that can make you see the evening road as light as day. And with them taking the Super Bowl slot, Audi has just created a funny interpretation of how powerful their headlights are. It is as mighty as daylight that it can make a whole bunch of partying vampires blown to a pulp with just a glare of the car’s lights, ruining a Twighlight-ish setup with the tree climbing and the bonfire singing, and all that movie wahoo.

3. LG

As you view this commercial from LG, it could give you an impression that it may be featuring either a TV or a cellular phone maybe, thanks to capturing photos of a sexy model. However, as the camera-shooting session gets longer, you can become puzzled as to why there is a man holding a tube behind the woman, and making that familiar sucking sound. What will make you laugh is that a vacuum cleaner is used to compress all that extra bulge, and I mean EXTRA BULGE, that the model must hide in order to make the shoot successful. Pretty neat and powerful for a vacuum cleaner huh?

2. Day Off 2

Despite that this video is just on for 10 seconds flat, it has garnered as much as 3,950,083 views in YouTube to date all because of two things: Ferris Bueller and “day off”. Looks like this ad has done its best intention of making viewers anticipate of what will come out in the Super Bowl commercials.

1. Volkswagen

We have seen a young Darth Vader interacting with a Volkswagen Jetta while using the force. This year, the German car company is keeping its tradition alive, but this time, touching on the Bark Side of the Force where dogs becomes stars and barking at a familiar tune which will make you laugh and even think that the ad is cute. Dogs that resemble Darth Vader, Jar Jar Binks, Princess Leia, C3PO, Ewoks, Chewbacca, and even Jabba the Hut , Luke Skywalker, and Obi-wan Kenobi can be seen here.

In the race of becoming the world’s best products, different businesses and companies are relying on advertisers and marketing firms to create gimmicks and stints that could really engage and persuade customers into purchasing. Aside from creative ads seen on TV and in some newspapers or magazines, another tool best used to attract people is by means of huge billboards seen on the streets. And if you think that it would be just another display of texts and photos with nothing special, then you may be missing something. After all, what these groups are aiming for is to attract attention and convince them into buying. Anyway, here are the top 10 most impressive Billboard advertisements seen around the world!

10. Quitplan Services

Advertising group Clarity Coverdale Fury has thought of a concept that does not need too much words in making a person understand that Quitplan Services helps people to overcome their addiction and bad habits such as smoking. In fact, the pole used in the said billboard is a large, and is located at 35W north of Twin Cities in Minnesota.

9. Mars

It cannot be denied that Mars is one of the tastiest chocolate bars you could ever taste across the planet, and even beyond maybe. In this particular billboard, you can just imagine how this tasty treat, especially when chilled, becomes too hard to resist, that even your tongue sticks to it… even if you go away from it!

8. Adidas

This particular ad seen in Germany, posted for the FIFA Cup 2006, is very controversial not only because it shows Oliver Kahn is making a save, but because the huge and amazing billboard is actually breaking the law as it is not allowed to post such huge ad, even fastened on a bridge!

7. Cadburry

Cadburry is known to be one of the best tasting chocolate bars in the world, but tasty as a billboard ad? Yes, this billboard actually shows life-size mannequins eating and tearing the chocolate bar, little by little.

6. Miele

Just how strong is their vacuum cleaner? Miele answers this question by having Miami Ad School post a billboard of a flat vacuum head pointing to the sky, which actually sucks a hot air balloon. This ad really sucks the attention of so many people.

5. Tylenol

Johnson & Johnson has clearly sent the message to spectators how a headache really hurts, even with a wreck ball stuck on the man’s forehead. The particular Tylenol ad has attracted a lot of people along Dundas Square in Toronto, Canada.

4. Formula Toothpaste

When you are looking for toothpaste that can provide you REALLY strong teeth, then this billboard of Formula Toothpaste in Indonesia would really convince you into buying.

3. McDonald’s Sundial Billboard

Back in 2009, there is one certain McDonald’s Billboard, created by the Leo Burnett ad agency that gets the attention of most people in Chicago along the corners of Clark and Addison Street. What’s the hitch? If you observe the ad between 6am to 11am, you can see it point at products from coffee to a burger, and 12noon lets you see the “M”.

2. Cingular

This ad located outside the Marriott Marquis in Times Square shows how dropped calls are really DROPPED! Cingular has done advertising to the next level by involving the billboard very close to the people. Too close actually…

1. Heineken

This has to be one of the best concepts yet, crossing both the 2D and 3D border of guerilla billboard advertising. Since 2D display no longer attracts the masses, adding a bit of effect, such as you see in this one where a hand actually plans to get the beer, will really attract your attention!
