The war in Serbia started early 1990s and it has continued since until the present time, although the most recent statistics reflect 2009. The crisis began due to the breakup of Yugoslavia. Members of local minority communities fled to the neighboring countries with fear of reprisals from the majority.

A 40-year conflict has really affected the stability of the country which has led to enormous numbers of individuals driven out their houses and went to exile. 7. West of Memphis

There is so much to expect in this Sony Pictures movie, especially if you know that this has been recognized by prestigious movie award giving bodies such as Sundance, the Toronto International Film Festival, and even the AFI Fest. The West of Memphis revolves its plot around the three young kids that have been murdered and sexually mutilated by men, in different scenarios, done at the same time. It took a while to know of the real story behind the “Satanic” ploy of these men, as the people involved in the solving of the crime felt that the truth and the light is never shining in this side of the story. Sounds too farfetched? Well, for starters, this is based on a true story, and the evidences are being presented in a documentary way.

6. Monsters, Inc. 3D

Kids have first seen monsters Mike and Sulley back in 2001, and it has been over a decade since. This year, kids of the latest generation will witness a kind of transformation that is being a trend in most 3D animated movies, by enhancing the overall quality of the picture and making it real-live 3D to be enjoyed in IMAX screens. Monsters Inc. is an addition to this growing trend and kids would just love to see monsters being scared by a little girl, a kind of twist that you could never imagine possible. 5. Django Unchained

What is not to be excited about with a movie that has been created by acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino, the one who made Kill Bill rise to fame? If you are a fan of action movies with all the blood spills and spurts, then Django Unleashed is just the movie for you. The plot is set years before the Civil War where Django, a slave, has been found by German bountyhunter, Dr. King Schultz, who poses as a travelling dentist, in which he is the person that can lead into the trail of the Brittle Brothers. What makes this motion picture special is the fact that Django chose to stay with the bountyhunter and join him in the quest of finding his wife, together with stopping an evil organization that houses the worst of slaves and turning them into sports brawlers.

4. Amour

With Amour being one of the choicest movies for the Cannes Film Festival, you just have to set your sights of what made this motion picture to be hailed as one of the best there is. Amour is about a couple, Georges and Anne, who are both retired music teachers, still in love with each other, despite being in their eighties, and being embraced by old age. Their daughter, who was already distant from them, had to go back to her parents, as Anne had an attack that could test the long-term relationship. You will feel the love as weaknesses appear, shortcomings made, and still love is present between them.

The 9/11 event was a mystery and the guys that are supposed to lead the trail have been destroyed together with the World Trade Center. So just how were they able to find him? This is the question that would make you watch this movie with awe and wonder. What’s better is that Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal, both associated with Best Picture “The Hurt Locker” are responsible for making this movie worth watching.

10. Suit against David Copperfield and David Blaine

David Blaine and David Copperfield are famous as magicians that perform feats beyond than what can be considered as illusions. However, there is one that filed a lawsuit against these two experts because he claims that the powers they use have been taken away from him, where he thinks that he owns it, being God. It could be just his own thinking or he may have been jealous knowing that his demands were not met when he conversed with these two guys – that the secrets of their magic be revealed to him.

8. Beer Company Charged for Misleading Ad

Ain’t it just dreamy if you could get sexy girls drink with you while sipping that nice cold beer everyone’s talking about? While this scenario is known to be an ad stint to invite more guys into buying products, one man just had to be convinced that drinking beer can help him get close with the hottest girls around. Anheuser-Busch, maker of beer products such as the famous Budweiser and Bud Light, was sued by Richard Overton for deceiving ads that women will be easier to be with when drinking beer brands. You may assert that he tried doing those moves on TV and failed, drastically! Overton demanded for Anheuser-Busch to pay him $250 a day each time that these misleading ads are broadcasted over the air.

7. Hospital sued for Negligence

The title may seem to be reasonable, especially when the case is being viewed as one that relates to malpractice, negligence of fulfilling medical duty, or taking the patient for granted. Nevertheless, Edward Brewer sued the hospital over $2 million for something else where he stated that the former Providence Hospital did not stop him from raping one of the patients treated within the said medical facility. This may sound a little too weird so the case ended with the court in favor of the defendant, all because Brewer had decided to do the crime on his own accord.

6. Dry Cleaners being Sued for Lost Pants

When you lose your pair of pants in a dry cleaning facility, the first thing you usually do is ask the owner to find the missing pair and provide you some kind of compensation, say discounts or free service, in order to maintain business and customer relationship. However, there is one judge in Washington D.C., named Roy Pearson, which went off a little too far with this said scenario. Knowing the law and all, he sued Custom Cleaners due to market statements like “satisfaction guaranteed” not given promise, with the judge ending one pant short. If you think that this is one cheap case, then you would be surprised to know that Pearson filed the suit for over $54 million, which he even dropped down from $64 million. He did not win this one… Why? Well, the accused actually brought the missing pants in the courtroom and proved that it has been found.

5. The Case against McDonalds Coffee

This case you just have to know since it was won over by the complainant. Stella Liebeck, together with her grandson, went through the McDonalds drive-thru in order for her to buy a cup of coffee. After buying the said item, the car stopped by on the side of the road and put the cup in between her knees to add the cream in the fresh and hot coffee. When she opened the plastic lid towards her, the contents of the cup spilled, which caused third-degree burns on her lower body. She then filed the case against McDonalds telling that the coffee served was too hot that it literally burned out. She asked to have damages paid for over $20,000 due to the incident but the international fast food chain refused.  With the case going to court, it was discovered that over 700 lawsuits have been filed having the same clause. Stella was awarded by the jury of over $160,000 for compensation in damages, and even $2.7 million for punitive damages.

4. Subway Authority charged by a Suicidal Person

Back in 1977, Milo Stephens Jr. went to the East Manhattan station in order for him to carry his plans of committing suicide by jumping off the tracks in order to be killed by the train. However, the said set up did not work out where he was just injured, losing some minor body parts. Perhaps this may be the weirdest of all the lawsuits ever noted in crime history. Robert Lee Brock sued himself for violating his own civil rights when he took in alcoholic beverages and had himself arrested by the law. He sued himself for over $5 million was imprisoned to over 23 years. Since he did not have the money to pay for the expenses, being in prison and all, Brock asked that the state should pay for compensations to him. You just have to wonder how this was filed in the first place, or if a lawyer assisted him in providing the perfect plan for having it validated in court.

Looks like it was President Obama who had drawn the first blood of Governor Romney, when he mentioned that the Republican candidate was wrong on many counts. Obama had somehow fulfilled some of his promises with changing the face of the healthcare industry, although it may be misleading why he is asking for an additional 4 years to make every plan and goal as possible.

The nice thing about Joe Biden is that he is into making people laugh by mentioning and taking different statements from other people, along with bashing in other names that do not even have place in the debate with Paul Ryan. He had already mistaken Ryan as Jack Kennedy at one point, and he even took the names of Sandra Palin, George W. Bush, and others. The hard part, as much as he is into making a fool of other people, his short temperateness is easily budged by his contender, that Biden spent more than 70% of the time, defending himself, rather than addressing issues.

There is always risk in quoting someone, not unless sources have been checked, and information has been verified. When Biden mentioned this statement from Mitt Romney, he was instilling a wrong idea  to the masses, making Romney look bad at disregarding or not being concerned with the terrorist group who attacked in the 9/11 event. However, when the words of the republican running for president have been cross referenced, even back in 2007, he meant to address something else. He stated that it is not worth moving heaven and earth, even spending billions of dollars just to get one person. It’s not that he did not care, he was just not comfortable with the idea that the government would spend so much money for Osama Bin Laden, instead of allocating the budget for the people and the programs that need more of it. It looks like Biden had to lie just to make other people look bad.

Known as one of his strategies to keep his audience attached to what he is going to say, he mentioned some controversial lines such as Obamacare supports religious preference, Iran can make 5 nukes, and now the Social Security and Medicare are to be drained to a pulp, which is also not true.

So Biden stating that they went out and saved the vehicle production industry is just taking credit for what they have just improved. It is more of they have taken over the rescue and made things more convenient.

4. Biden: Romney said, “No, let Detroit go bankrupt”

People who hear this statement may have their eyes widened with shock, thinking that Mitt Romney has been cold hearted when it comes to the automobile industry issues during the term of President Obama. Nevertheless, looking at these lines, especially coming from Biden, may need more studying, research, and cross referencing. With the statement he wrote as an essay with New York Times back in 2008, he did not write in general for Chrysler and GM to go bankrupt for good. This was in response for the use of government money to bail out the two major car companies. He instead suggested for bankruptcy restructuring through the use of private finances, something that has been beyond possible at the time. Romney did not even stop there but he also suggested for the government to guarantee private loans for these companies, after the bankruptcy was lifted.

3. Biden: What we did is, we saved $716 billion and put it back, applied it to Medicare

With all due respect, $716 billion to be used for healthcare is a huge help for many families and beneficiaries alike. However, reality bites and most of the said amount of money are not being used back for Medicare management. The total savings stated by Biden have been cut in the total of 10 years, and some of these have been used to improve services, increase benefits, and even taking care of balances and deficits from providers. Despite of this fortunate report, majority of the money have been utilized to increase health care coverage outside of the Medicare system.

Getting back the financial stability of the US government is not an easy task, which requires the support of the people who are on the upper bracket of the society; the wealthier members of the community. This could be a dream come true if the country has richer people than the middle class masses. However, it is not the case and the meager are more populate than the Class A’s. Due to these statistics, Obama’s planned tax increase will also affect those who are profiting individuals who make over $200,000 and couples making an additional $50,000 every year. Now that would be ironic as this was the vision of former president Bush. So Biden’s response as to who will pay more taxes on the second term was totally bogus!

1. Biden: Well, we weren’t told they wanted more security there

One of the most recent issues that the US has faced was when the embassy in Benghazi, Libya was attacked by terrorists in response to their hate for the international superpower. It is unfortunate to know that they have been successful as they have taken the lives of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans. This could have been avoided if the demand of Eric Nordstrom, the top security official in Libya, was granted. He sought for more security from Washington but it was criticized beyond belief; thinking that he was asking too much. When Biden mentioned of these sentences during the debate, people who have heard the response were just upset that such assumption for safety was overlooked and misjudged, and was asserted without confirmation of any kind.
