Did you know that the iPhone allows you to calculate all of the steps you take each day? The app is called pedometer. This app can really help you when you want to go on a walk or either a run. In order for the app to work properly, you’ll need to hold the iPhone so it can calculate the steps that you take. It not only figures out how many steps you’ve done but also how many calories you’ve burned when exercising.

Many of us love a good bargain and like to save as much money as possible. There are times when we go to the store unexpectedly or maybe did not have a chance to look at the newspaper for a coupon. The good news is if you have an iPhone you can find coupons fast by downloading apps like the Groupon that will help you to find deals. I first was unsure about using FaceTime. I didn’t think I would end up liking it but after I used it the first time with my friend I just loved it. Try it out at least just once. It’s very easy to use. The only complaint I have about Facetime is how tiny the box is on the corner but you can move the box around if needed. You can also take a screen shot of the FaceTime conversation that you’re having with your friend so that way you can show off to your friends that you had FaceTime with them. You can also download Skype on your iPhone if you don’t feel like using FaceTime.

The Apple app store has lots of games that you can try. It doesn’t matter if you’re into board games, card games, Bejeweled Blitz, or even pool, if you browse enough you can find a game that you love. One of my favorite games to play on the iPhone is Bejeweled Blitz but some other games include Temple Run and Angry Birds. There are plenty of free games on your iPhone but one game that did cost some money that I love is Table Tennis Touch.

4. Check out Movie Reviews and buy movie tickets
I love movies. I sometimes have nights to where I like to curl up in my blanket and just watch movie after movie with some popcorn. However, there are nights to when I must just go out and see that new movie that’s in the theater. If I want to make sure that the movie is really worth seeing I just pull out my Rotten Tomatoes app and browse the reviews and then I go to my Fandango app on my iPhone and purchase the movie ticket. One advantage with buying your movie ticket on your iPhone is that you don’t have to wait in the long line to get your movie ticket.

There are lots of apps available that allow you to play a virtual piano or either a guitar. Some apps even allow you to play drums or other musical instruments.
