Bejeweled Blitz is one of my favorite games to play on Facebook and on my phone. I’ve been playing it now for over 2 years now and have broken the 2M score a few times. If you don’t know exactly what I am talking about with rare gems what I mean is the gems that you can purchase under your items area in order to help with either improving your score, getting that key stone or just to play for fun. There are 6 main gems used being the Moonstone, Cat’s Eye, Big Apple, Kanga Ruby, Blazing Steed and Phoenix Prism. What most fans of Bejeweled Blitz look forward to is when they pull out a rare gem that’s available for a limited time. Available for a limited time with rare gems means that gamers can share these gems until they expire. Once they have expired they go into vault and into your rare gems. When they are in your rare gems you can then use them until they are all gone but they won’t be loaded up again until the release the gems.
A lot of us gamers who play Bejeweled love almost all of them. There are a few some of us might not be crazy about because they don’t really help with boosting up our score but mainly there for other reasons. Regardless of your score and what the gem might do, have you find yourself going to one of the rare gems over and over until it goes out? What if the rare gem didn’t even help your score at all you just enjoyed playing it? After doing much research I have discovered that if you love a certain gem for no reason at all that there might actually be a reason as to why. Those rare gems might actually reveal your personality.

10. Ice Burrrst – Uniqueness, creative, faith and hope
The Ice Burrrst gem is mainly a winter gem. White gems get replaced with snowflakes and they explode just like the flaming gems. If the Ice Burrrst is one of your favorite gems you’re a unique and creative individual. You’re full of faith and hope. When people are down, you’re one of the first ones who will try to help and encourage them. You’re a special light in the room when everyone else might be down and out.
9. Hot Cocoa – You’re a romantic person, loveable, sweet, bliss and a perfectionist
The Hot Cocoa is another rare gem that comes out around the winter time and it’s also a white gem. It’s done in the same way as the Ice Burrrst except that Hot Cocoa mugs come out and not snowflakes. If you find yourself enjoying the Hot Cocoa rare gem that means you’re a romantic person, loveable, sweet, and blissful and a true perfectionist. You’re the kind of person who makes a wonderful partner.
8. Coin Catcher – You’re a naturally curious person, confident, happy and love to just have fun
The Coin Catcher is one of the newest rare gems that became available on March 23rd 2015. It’s not so much used for high scores but it’s a great way to get coins. If you love the Coin Catcher more than the other rare gems you’re a naturally curious person. You have many questions about life and everything else under the sun. You don’t mind asking these questions. You’re a confident person, happy and you just love to have fun. You’re the kind of person I want to have at my party. You’re carefree and you don’t care what people think when you ask those questions. Go you!
7. Flower Power – Adventurous, comfortable with life, a lover and they go after their dreams
If you love the Flower Power rare gem then you’re adventurous, comfortable with life, a lover and you go after your dreams. You don’t mind at all shining your light around the world. You have a lot to offer. People come to you when they need a new vision in life or hope restored. The flower power gem shows up when players can match the purple gems together.
6. Tic Toc – You’re creative, full of imagination and a daydreamer
The Tic Toc was introduced back in September 23, 2014. There was mixed reviews from players on this gem. It’s a very different kind of gem. When you use this gem you will find 20 silver scarabs at random times. Players will then receive two additional seconds after they have accomplished this and if you can collect them all, you can receive a total of 40 extra seconds. If this is one of your favorite gems then you’re creative and full of imagination. You might make a great writer and you love to read. You’re also a daydreamer. 5. Heart Stone – You’re a passionate person, intense, full of energy, courage, love and truthful
The Heart Stone is a fun gem stone. A heart shaped pattern appears when creating red flame gems. If you find yourself loving the heart stone the most then you’re a passionate person, intense, full of energy, full of courage, love and you’re truthful. If you see someone who needs your help you go after and help them regardless of the circumstances. You might make a great firefighter or doctor.
4. Crystal Clover – You’re a happy go lucky type of person and beautiful inside and out
The Crystal Clover can score high at random times but you have to get good at it first. If you still find yourself loving this one more than the others regardless of your score then you’re a happy go lucky type of person. You are happy with life. You glow inside and out. People go to you when they need a pick me up because you can make them feel good about life again.
3. Rock- It- Blast – You’re an observer, enthusiastic, happy and love to party
Now we’re getting down to the last three favorite gems. We all know that the Rock-It-Blast is a high score gem. I received my first 1M with it. If you love the Rock-It-Blast then you’re an observer, enthusiastic, happy and you love to party. When you’re at parties or at social gatherings you tend to observe and pay close attention to your surroundings more than other people but you still know how to have fun. You might also listen to your intuition more than others.
2. The Aquartz – You’re a survivor, a hard worker, confident and bold
I love the Aquartz almost as much as I love the one that’s number one. If you enjoy the Aquartz more than the other gems you’re a survivor, a hard worker, confident and bold. You might also be the type of person who will get the party started because of being so bold. You’re a leader but at the same time you can struggle with being tired from being a hard worker. Stock up on those energy drinks and continue pressing on! You’re the kind of person who I want to have at any party to get things started.
1. The Progressive Rare Gem aka Flo – Luck hits you when you least expect it, you’re a dreamer, a great learner and you don’t let things hold you back in life
My favorite gem is the Progressive Gem. This gem also received mixed reviews from gamers. Bejeweled Blitz and Progressive Insurance partnered up together in October 13, 2014 and featured Flo riding on a white unicorn. The white gems had the letter P engraved on them. I was able to do my first 2M with this gem. If you love the Progressive Gem then luck hits you when you least expect it. You’re a dreamer and because of your dreams you’re able to make goals in life. These dreams help you with pressing on towards life no matter what others say. You’re a great learner and can be a wonderful team player or even leader because of it.
