6. Bubble Tape

I loved bubble tape when I was a kid. I don’t know what it was about getting the bubblegum from the tape and pulling on it that made it loads of fun. I can remember always being thrilled whenever I found some bubble tape in my stocking. Bubble tape was always popular at Christmas time mainly because they make great gifts. There’s a variety of flavors but I always like the original classic bubble tape flavor the best. I think that no matter what age you might be, bubble tape will always be fun compared to the normal bubblegum. My only other favorite one next to this was fruit stripe gum but even then, bubble tape was my favorite one.

5. Chocolate Gold Coins

Here’s another extremely popular Christmas stocking stuffer. Perhaps my only disappointment with these was that they are just plain chocolate. Sometimes I was hoping whenever I got a chocolate gold coin that it would be something else besides plain chocolate. Maybe the reason why is because you get extremely excited when you see the paper and then you just feel somewhat disappointed when you open it up and realize it’s just plain milk chocolate.

4. Chocolate covered cherries

There’s a variety of chocolate covered cherries but perhaps one of the most famous chocolate covered cherries to get at Christmas time is Brach’s Cherry Cordial’s. To this day I always try and go out of my way to get at least one box of chocolate covered cherries. It’s just a nice tradition to have and keep. You can make your own easy enough but around this time of year, if you’re busy buying them at the store and giving them as gifts still works out just fine.

Here’s another famous retro Christmas candy by Brach’s. What makes these such a great idea is the fact that they have a Christmas tree in the middle f the candy. Whenever I attended a Christmas party I always seemed to find these out at the party. They have a flavor to them that’s minty and handy to have after having a big Christmas meal.

These have been around for a very long time. They have changed over the years but you can still find the classic Hersey’s milk chocolate Santa with nothing but chocolate filled in the middle. When I was a child I can remember just looking at these for awhile before even eating them. I was so impressed with how much they looked like Santa. I sometimes was even scared to eat them because of it. I always had one with a glass of milk. There are times when I still go out and get one at Christmas time.
