After the holidays it seems there’s lots of cleaning that needs to get done. Part of this has to do with having a crowded home over with lots of guests. There are some chores that no matter what time of year it might be we don’t like at all. I would rather skip these chores and hand them over to someone else then having to do them myself. I guess this is another reason as to why they are called chores or event asks that we might loathe doing. At the end of the day, when everyone is done arguing here’s something that you might agree on.

Check out these 10 Household Chores We All Dislike

10. Removing the cobwebs
I don’t know about you but cleaning those cobwebs is the last thing that I want to do. Maybe it’s because I am a woman and the thought of spiders makes me somewhat nervous, I’ll pass it on for the man to do. I might clean them if I don’t see a spider nearby but I am not so sure if I really want to risk that because you never know when one might suddenly appear. I don’t care if the spider is big or small, I don’t want to be near one at all.

9. Cleaning up a room that has piles of junk in it
Have you ever tried opening up the door to a room that has loads of junk in it? You might not even be aware of this at first but then when you finally manage to open up the door and see the room you want to run. Maybe the room hasn’t been used in awhile (such as the attic) and you had forgotten all of the stuff that was in the room. Why on earth did you decide to try and clean it today? You’ve got to be strong, tough it out and just get rid of all the junk in it. Hopefully it won’t pile up high again for awhile.

8. Taking out the trash
I think there’s a reason why so many people put off taking the trash. It’s one of those that you never know as to what might happen when you take out the trash. A few times I’ve had to where I go and take out the trash then suddenly the bag just rips and comes open. You never know what’s also in the trash. It could be heavy bottles of water which makes it even more difficult to carry out or maybe something so smelly you just want it gone.

7. Cleaning up stains on the carpet
Often times after you’ve had a lot of people over you look around and suddenly see all of the stains on your carpet. You have no idea how they got there and no one would ever admit as to if they made a mess on your floor. It might have been a child or maybe even a wine stain that you have to clean up. The only good thing I can say about this one is if you can afford it, there’s a lot of companies that might be happy to come out and clean those stains out of your carpet regardless of how bad they might be right now.

6. Dusting
Dusting is almost right up there with getting rid of the cobwebs in your home. You never know as to what exactly you might stumble upon when you’re dusting. What if you suddenly see a tiny spider in the corner when you’re dusting? All of those what if’s. Unfortunately, this is one of those jobs that no matter what you end up having to do by yourself unless if you can afford a maid to dust for you.

5. Cleaning the gutters
There’s a reason as to why they have services available to where your gutters can get cleaned by a professional. Many people don’t like cleaning out the gutters. When was the last time you actually cleaned out your gutters? This is when we’re very thankful for the cleaning companies that can come in and clean those gutters so we don’t have to do it ourselves.

4. Cleaning the litter boxes
If you have a cat at home or animals that must use a litter box then you’ll completely understand as to why this one might be a chore we all don’t like. Cleaning out the litter box is just one of those chores that is smelly and gross. Putting it off can make it even worse. You just have to go ahead and do it regardless of how you feel so the stink will go away and the cats can poop happily.

3. Vacuuming
I don’t know what’s worse. Having to clean up the stains on the carpet or either having to vacuum the carpet. Either way, there’s at least a cleaning company that can also help with vacuuming. It doesn’t matter if the vacuum cleaner is heavy or light. It’s just one of those things that many people end up putting off because they don’t like it at all.

2. Washing the dishes
Putting off washing the dishes is one of those things that might seem like a good idea but then later you’ll end up regretting. The dishes become piles and before you know it, what might have been a 30 minute job ends up being a job that might last a couple of hours at least. Just turn up the music and dance when you’re washing the dishes. Trust me, it helps with getting it done faster.

1. Cleaning the bathroom
I think one of the worst chores ever is cleaning the bathroom in general. It doesn’t matter if it’s the toilet, bathroom floor, the tub or even just the sink. Ever wonder why some bathrooms might have lots of mold in them? Many put it off and then find other excuses as to why they should not clean the bathroom. This happens even more after the holidays and the bathroom might be a mess when the guests finally leave.
